Wedding Centerpiece Help

I am trying to come up with an idea for the centerpieces at my wedding. I would like to use candles in some way but the budget we have planned doesn't allow too much to go into the centerpieces. If anyone has any good ideas please help.

The best way to save money on centerpieces is to make your own. Favors by Serendipity (www.favorsbyserendipity.com) has hand painted votive holders. They can be personalized with names and date for your wedding. Only $5.20 each and they come in 5 different designs.

At the $1.00 Store, get glass bowls and floating candles. Put candle in, and add mylar shred or dried flowers in colors that match your wedding. Fill bowl about half way with water, making sure "stuff" stays underwater .... Cept for candle!
