Michigan Wedding

I live in Illinois but want a wedding on lake michigan - and our side of the lake isnt too pretty! I would love to find a nice site for the wedding and reception on or close to the beach in michigan. Does anyone know of a good place that wont be too far from the border? I dont want a long drive for my guests. And I dont have a huge budget for the wedding either. Thanks!
