Wedding Invitation Etiquette

We are getting married and having a reception in a different state in which we live. We are also going to have a second reception one week later in the town we reside in. People are welcome/invited to both events but we do not want them to feel obligated to attend our out-of-state wedding. What will an RSVP card look like and how do we word our invitation with both receptions?
