Depo

I have been on the shot for 6 years now. I have had extreme weight gain that has created low self esteem. I am approaching 40 and have major concerns about the amount of bone loss that has occured as a result of Depo. Has this been a concern for any of you? It would be great to get some feed back on this issue as we all know that we are at high risk for Osteoporosis. Does this increase our chances greatly?
