Ummm, Dianna, you really should not try to give anyone advice when you don`t even know where something is. Trinidad is Northeast of Venezuela, that would put it in Central American and the Carribean. Please don`t speak of culture, and don`t try to make good what is already is said to be understood the way it is. If the girl wants to, she can reiterate her question in a clearer manner. Whatever the client is looking for - free or not, we all know you are trying to gain a paying client. Are you willing to give this client a dress for nothing? I didn`t think so. So just don`t respond, but don`t take up posting space to make yourself look "heavenly" and "saint-like". Give us all a break, the freeloaders and you as a business.

You tell others not to criticize, but in your response, I did not notice that you really offered to help the person out with a dress either. You provided your business name, but what did you offer the person since she said she has no money? And Shamika, to clear things up, okay, do you literally mean you have no money at all, or just very little? Sometimes people say they "have no money" but they really mean they have some money, but just don`t have $1,000 to spend. So Shamika, to be clear, how much exactly is your friends` budget for a wedding gown? How much money does she have to spend on her gown? Zero? Fifty dollars? A hundred dollars? Two hundred? Please clarify this for all of us to see. Then maybe we can go from there without jumping to conclusions if we have clear answers. Also, Shamika, did you ever contact Trisha, who offered to help? I`m just wondering if you found something by now.

Hey Thank you so much for pointing out that a business owner was being Deceiving and trying to get something for nothing. I was almost ready to lose alot of money for something that is close to my heart because I thought that she was really a friend trying to help someone out. I absolutely do not offer my gown to you for $50.00 and if someone out there who is honest would like a gown and REALLY does not have the money and does not just want to make a mark up on the gown, then you can contact me via post on this board. I would like to withdraw my last email, I just got FALSE information from someone on here and I am pretty new to this place and didnt realize that there are some people who would lie at the stake of others. Oh my goodness, there are some very angry brides out there. I dont know who is to trust. I really did not like the slam against American women back there either to whom ever wrote that, you should not judge what you do not know. Generalizing a whole countryof women is ignorant and pathetic and I know that not everyone from your country could be that sad. I would never generalize any group of people like that at all.And it sadens and sickens me to think that in this day and age some people still would. And your comment about whiping asses, I cannot even comment because I think that everyone here agrees that was just down right disquisting. I think that some people have a nasty tongue because they don`t like themselves and therefore want to take the attention off of themselves and put it onto someone else. I just read the previous posts, i posted my reply blindedly and did not know all the baggage that had been dropped off here. I am sorry to the girl that is looking for a dress for a friend. And I see your point the girls that work hard for there things. (I am one of those), but the person who wrote the nasty stuff, you just need to grow up. Seriously!! You ask a question, but where is your question mark at the end of the sentence? You can only teach something if you know it already. The people who told Shamika to stop being rude were right on the money. She wasn`t rude for asking for help. She was rude for telling people to shut up. THIS is a free country, no matter where SHE is from. That means freedom of speech. I don`t know what`s up with the "Ameriass" comments, but people outside the United States being jealous of Americans is old news and to be expected. With hatred, there is always jealousy. They go hand in hand. There is a reason people drown trying to get here. It`s because of the opportunties America has to offer. Many immigrants pack themselves in produce trucks like human sardines and suffocate trying to get to America. One of our constitutional rights is freedom of speech. And I just exercised my own. I do hope Shamika and her friend find something affordable.
