Strapless Gown In January? HELP!
Am I crazy to wear a strapless gown in Jan? I`m told everyone is wearing them. (regardless of weather) There are very few sleeved gowns out there and I suprisingly like this strapless on my (size 16) figure.. But i`m nervous about the flabby arms in photos.. It has a shawl and also a bolero jacket.... Ladies.. What are you wearing for your winter weddings? (I`m in the north east)

I am having a "winter wonderland" wedding in February 05. Granted, I live on the gulf coast, but it will still be chilly. My gown is strapless with no shawl or wrap, instead, I will be wearing the long gloves. Go for what makes me you feel good. Best Wishes and Good Luck.

I am wearing a strapless dress as well and thought about maybe knitting a wrap (attachable at one point at the neck) with really fancy yarn. I`m big on knitting, so it fits with my personality.

I just changed my wedding date from August to March and have a strapless dress, and have been asking myself the same question. I`ve been doing some research and have found 2 good options, a faux fur bolero jacket, or a faux fur capulet(short cape) and muff all in ivory to match the dress color, just an idea!
Good luck

Relax its your special day and if you want to wear a strapless dress, girl go for it. I think strapless dresses are beautiful and when I get married next spring I plan to wear one also. Good luck with everything.

Well my wedding is in November. I am also wearing a strappless dress and I wear a size 22. Don`t be ashamed I know for a fact at my wedding I can come out in a potatoe sack and people will let me know how beautiful it is do what you feel is right.
I bought a cape to go over my dress because we will still be taking pictures outside. I live in chicago so the weather here is not always that great. I think whatever you pik to wear for your day will be fine. I don`t know if it`s just lately but every bride looks so pretty to me.
GOOD LUCK!

I got married last November in Chicago, and I wore a strapless gown. I chose a wrap that matched my dress. It certainly wouldn`t have done anything to keep me warm if I were shoveling snow, but really your only out a very short time, from the limo to the church, from church to Limo. My friend got married in December and she wore my wrap and had a fur muff...very cute! Good Luck!
