I Need Help Picking Out A Bridal Shower Gift!
I am going to a bridal shower on Saturday and need some gift ideas. I have found this gift on a wedding site but I need some more suggestions for it, here is what I have so far:
Items of necessity that you will need for the first time as a couple: A partial roll of toilet paper (for the first time you run out and need a few sheets), a baggie with a partial bar of soap in it (for the first time you forget to buy soap and just need enough to get a bath), a few Q-tips (for when you run out the first time), a can of soup or other easy to make item (for the first time you burn supper),and a list of the local restaurants and phone numbers (in case you burn the can of soup)
If you could write back with some suggestions that would be great.

Those are wonderful ideas for the young bride. But I wouldn`t recommend it for a couple who has lived together for awhile. They have probably run out of soap and TP a few times. But still a great idea anyway. I wish I could be as creative, seriously I`m not being sarcastic.
For my shower a few weeks ago, all the guests were asked to bring their favorite recipe typed out or hower they want it to be. Then at the shower digital pics were taken of each person and added to the scrapbook page they designed for a recipe book that was given to me at the nd of the day. I Love it and can`t wait to get started on trying all the new recipes.

An add on for the recipe thing, would be to supply the staples for the recipe.....example the spices, or baking powder, baking soda, flour, sugar etc...when starting out it gets a little expensive trying to fill those cabinets with the staples you need to set up a household.
