Roaring 20s/Gangster Theme Party

Hello All, I am planning a Roaring 20s/Gangster theme party for my husbands 30th. I`m having alittle bit of trouble on how to start planning it especially in the decorating and invitation dept. How should I set out the invites? Should I stick to black and white in decor and dress code? I am hiring a hall and there will be over 100 people attending so I need some ideas on how to plan out the night. I would like to know if anyone has had a Roaring 20s/Gangster party or been to one and what they did to make it a night to remember. Any response would be highly appreciated. Thanks

Hi, i know your message was from quite awhile ago but I`m organising a gangster themed party for my husband`s 30th too. I`m having similar problems with decorations etc. Was wondering if you could tell me what you ended up doing or if you have any suggestions?
