Father Inlaw Daughter Inlaw Dance

I think that`s an awesome idea. I can`t really think of any songs off the top of my head, maybe James Taylor`s "You`ve got a friend"? But I think you should definitely go for it. I also like that you`re having your mom walk you down the aisle. So many brides get hung up on the idea that whoever walks them down the aisle, if it can`t be their dad for whatever reason, has to be a man. It will mean so much to your mom. Good luck!

I, too, unfortunately am estranged from my dad and he will not be attending my wedding. My mom would walk me down the aisle but she`s afraid she`ll knock me over so I am going halfway down the aisle myself and then having my husband to be meet me halfway and we finish the walk together. We are doing an in-law dance in place of the father-daughter dance. I`m tossing it between "The Way You Look Tonight" (Sinatra) or "You`re Nobody `til Somebody Loves You" by Dean Martin. Fiance is also dancing that dance with my mom.
