Weddingbokay.com DON`T USE!!
My daughter was married in July. We used Weddingbokay for our florist. The owner, about 2 weeks before the wedding, refused to deliver the bride and bridesmaids bouquets, my corsage, and my husband and son`s boutonnieres to our house for pre-wedding photos. At noon on the day of the wedding, after having had my hair done and before getting dressed for the photos/wedding, I had to drive 30min to her place and 30min back to get them for us. She was then supposed to deliver the altar arrangements and the rest of the corsages (grooms mother, grandmothers) and ALL the rest of the groomsmens, ring bearers, fathers and grandfathers boutonnieres to the church at 2:30, an hour before the ceremony. She arrived at the church well after 3:00, more like 3:15. Over half of the guests had already arrived. All the formal photos of the groom, his family, groomsmen had to be taken without their boutonnieres. When the florist finally drove up, she jumped out of her van and yelled at one of the guests whose car was in front of her, to move out of the way. She practically threw the box of corsages and boutonnieres at me, and took the altar flowers (2 arrangements) into the church, in front of the guests. Her comment to me: Oh, I thought you said 3:00. All of our emails, including one 2 days before the wedding stated 2:30 and her reply to the email was "everything is going to go as planned."
She then went to the reception site to do the flowers there. She refused to take the altat arrangements from the church to the reception for us, so we had to make sure that one of our friend`s could do that for us. In addition, we had asked her to place rose petals between the layers of the cake. She did not do this.
I confronted her 2 days after the wedding when I drove back there to take some of the vases we had to rent from her, She said, "Oh, I couldn`t put petals on the cake. That doesn`t work." Now, she didn`t say that to me or my daughter BEFORE the wedding! And, she had another excuse as to why she was late to the church.
My daughter and her husband emailed her asking for a refund of the bridal party flowers that were not on time, and for the bag of petals for the cake that we paid for, and she did not use--about $200. Her response was to remit $52, which she says was half of the delivery fee! And, she had a third, different response as to why she was late to the church!
She was so rude, arrogant and unpleasant that I want to make sure no one goes to her.
Are there any other sites for posting info re: bad vendors?
