To: A Beautiful Celebration

I heard about you and thought I would ask for some help. I live in Maryland and I`m now planning my Oct. 1,2005 wedding. I`m working with 5,000.00. 1,500.00 which is coming from my side and the grooms side. (500.00 from each parent) Anyways, we are working on one income how can we go about this. Im having about 140 people. I no longer do daycare because we just found out our 3 year old has C.P. So we are now running 2.5 hours away to John Hopkins and K.K.I Hospital for check up`s and ect.... If you can help out or know anyone that can that would be great. Im not asking for anything free just someone to help out a couple in need...as we are on a tight budget.

Thank you
April.

April,
You might try contacting them directly (just search them on this site), I don`t think that they check this board too often. At the moment they are having a contest to win a free dream wedding, you just have to write an essay describing it and send it to them, you can read the post that tells about the contest on this board. Also, what size are you, what style of dress are you interested in? My wedding is in July 2005, and I already have my dress, if you`d like and it would fit I`d be more than happy to send it your way when I`m done with it. It`s a size 14 but it has a lace up back so it`s adjustable. Also, anything I have left over from my wedding I`d be more than happy to pass along if it`s something you like, as well as share in lots of money saving tips I`ve come across. Drop me a line and let me know if you`d be interested in anything. Tracijenae@hotmail.com I`m sorry to hear about your son, but don`t worry everything will be okay, you may have to adjust your vision of his future a little bit, but your son will still have a full and happy life, like any other child. There`s a book that you should really check out that is a really great resource for parents with children with disabilities, it`s called "When Your Child Has a Disability : The Complete Sourcebook of Daily and Medical Care"by Mark L. Batshaw. You might be able to find it at your local library if not you can try half.com or amazon to purchase a used copy, it is definitely worth the money. I had to read it for a class on disabilities I took last semester and it is very comprehensive and will help you to know what your child`s rights are as well as helping you to understand your childs disability a little more and what it means for his life. Anyway, I wish you the best of luck and let me know if you`d be interested in anything or want to share ideas for saving money.
