Location For Theme Wedding

Hi,
I live in Seattle and I have been looking for a site to hold my rennaissance themed wedding. I'm looking for something more than a hotel or hall with character--I want a setting!

Hey Andrea,
Check out Thornewood Castle (www.thronewoodcastle.com) It is a historical replica of a Tudor/gothic castle in Lakewood Washington. It is fantastic, my fiancee are got engaged there last year and it was fantastic. I understand Stephen King's miniseries Rose Red was filmed at this spectacular castle. If it's a setting you want look no further!

Hi,
I noticed most of the postings on this message board are by women, but I really could use some help. I read about Thornwood castle and it sounds really great, but I live in Phoenix AZ. I think I can handle finding a B&B on my own to take my girlfriend to propose, but I'm not very good at being romantic and I would appreciate some help making it a memorable weekend.

Hi,

Some B&B's offer gift baskets or bouquets of roses to be ordered along with your room and these will be placed in your room prior to your arrival. Others offer concierge services to help you plan a romantic day trip, or night out and can make suggestions usually based upon personal experience at the local sites. One word of advice: If you want your proposal to be a surprise and you aren't really as romanticas you claim it may be a dead giveaway telling your sweetie you are going away to a B&B for the weekend; you may want to be a little more mysterious ;)

Good luck
