Ivory Dress
Hi guys....so I have a naturally very dark olive skin color and when I went to try on dresses...my bridesmaids and I all agreed that the ivory dresses looked better with my skin color than the white ones. I fell in love with my dress and I got it in ivory.....only problem is I have no idea what to do with the tuxs.....white shirts would clash....I went to a wedding last weekend and the groom had on a black shirt under the tux....it looked nice....oh yeah and my bridesmaids dresses are champaine colored....we are getting married in November and I am using the fall leaves to bring in most of the color....Please help I am in need of ideas! Thanks so much!!!!

I had an ivory dress when I got married in October. Even though Mens Warehouse was no good at sizing the tuxes, they did recommend we go with white shirts. The reason was that the ivory shirts can vary in color a lot. She showed me a few that they had and everyone was a different shade of ivory. To me, that was more noticable than the men wearing white shirts with my ivory dress. The white shirts looked great and you didn`t even notice in the pictures that my dress was ivory and their shirts white. For the most part, your guests will be so taken with how you look, no one will even notice.

Hello,
My dress was diamond white and my husband wore white shirt with a cream vest and tie. It looked very nice since you did not see alot of the white only the collar.

Well, thank you very much. I appreciate you both writing back so soon. At first I just assumed that the guys would wear white shirts, but then the sales lady said that she thought that it would clash really bad. I just got a phone call this morning and my dress is in! I am so excited....I am going to bring my shall thing that came with it to the tux shop to pick the tuxs out. Thanks everyone!
