Bridal Shower Ettiquette

I had my shower Sunday and there were women who sent gifts but did not attend. Does nayone know if you are required to send them a favor even if they did not attend? My fiance`s aunt has told him that we should but I have never heard of this. I am being driven crazy. Please help if anyone had any advice.

I didn`t. I just sent them a thank you card thanking them and that i was sorry that they could not attend.

I would say that since you received such nice gifts even though they did not attend the bridal shower, if you have leftover favors, why not give them each one? Is it really going to kill you to give them one?

If you`re going to see them in the few weeks then it would be nice to give them one.
But I`ve never heard of mailing favors!

Just send them a thank you note for the gift. Party favors are for party attenders.
