Black & White Wedding - What Color Flowers
My wedding colors are black and white and I did not want to add color to the bridesmaids flowers. I currently have them all white (roses and lilies) - but if you had to add color, what would you add? The center pieces at the reception are white roses. The table cloth is white with a black one on top. I told the floweriest that I did not want my girls to carry any color cause I did not want people to think that, that was part of my color. There dresses are black and white.
Would you select a color of just keep them white?

I think having some of the white roses in the girls` bouqets tipped with black would set it off! That way you`re sticking to your color scheme and adding a touch of color to the bouqet!

If you are asking if the just black and white theme sounds ok I think it does. You do NOT have to add color. However if you did chose to add color I would also go with red. I think it would go best with the black and white and not been seen as a "color" but more of an accent.

Hunter, Royal, Emerald, even Silver. These would all bring out the colors, Red is always nice too.

I agree with Red. It adds a subtle accent color and looks classy!

I would just add more greenery to them that is what I am doing. I just decided to put ivy and leafy things to add more to the bouquet, to make it stand out against my dress and the girls

All the jewel tones would work well to create a simple and classic arrangement. However, don`t be affraid to use unconventional items such as mirror and glitter sticks to fill in and add extra punch.

I think tipping the roses with silver or gold glitter or adding accents in the bouquets of rhinestones (white or black) would be very elegant as well. Good luck!

If you did add color, I would add HOT pink! Just a splash as an accent. The table centerpieces could be white with black large feathers for a grand look and possibly 3 hot pink callas or orchids or maybe on the black table cloth add hot pink rose petals. If you did put hot pink in the attendant flowers, it could be a few hot pink orchids, some black feathers and black ribbons to tie the bouquets for an exotic look.
