What Colors?!?!

My fiance is dead set on having a green color as a wedding color and the only decent green I can find is sage, but now I can`t find a coordinating color, any ideas?!?!

I`m using sage a light pink and ivory, Who says you have to stick with one or two colors. I`m making my own centerpieces, I`m making topiary trees, visit Michael`s Craft Stores, they have so many ideas and they are very cheap if you make them yourself. My florist wanted $40 for a small arrangement of 6 roses in a fish bowl filled with some type of marbles that look like they`re made out of gel. I am making my topiaries with silk roses in pink and ivory and painting the terra cotta pots with sage colored spray paint, they are coming out beautiful, I also attached some sage colored satin ribbon and it really looks great! I like pink and he likes sage, so we compromised and added a little of each here and there and it turned out well. Good luck on your wedding, let me know if you need any ideas, I have made tons of stuff for our July 2005 wedding for a fraction of what vendors out there charge. All you need is a little creativity, there`s really nothing to what these florists do! Our cake that we chose is buttercream frosting, which has an ivory looking color already, we are having pink roses with sage colored leaves, and I`m also having some sage colored dots on the cake, it looks beautiful.!

You can use a muted lavender with sage, not pastel lavender, but a silvery, smoky purple.

Sage and gold; sage and ivory; sage and silver; sage and chocolate brown; the list is endless...

U`d be suprised wot goes with wot. I went to a paint store and they gave me a color chart, so i`m able to put colors side by side to see how they look. Hope this helps!
