Actually, there are Maggie Gowns out there for $300 and even less. You just have to know how and where to look for them. Unlike yourself, some people in the world remember having to pay their own way through college without having all of daddy`s money to get them through or pay for their wedding and so they are willing to sell their dresses inexpensively and even, GASP!, donate them. By the way, I plan to donate it once I get married (and that`s much less than $300!). And as opposed to fighting tooth and nail to get one on ebay, I`d rather use the message boards where I have met tons of wonderful, kindhearted, fun individuals, not that you are one of them.
