Please Help

I want to renew our weeding vows after our 5th year anniversary because my father was not able to attend at the time that we got married. Everyone tells me that I should wait until the 10th year anniversary and do it at that time. What should I do I really want my father to be able to take part in my wedding and I didn`t want to wait that long. What does other people think?

5 year renewal is perfectly fine - people do it all the time! It`s your day and is about what you want and what makes you happy - not everyone else. That`s their dream not yours - just listen to your heart and do what you want to do. Don`t worry about everyone else. Have fun and congratulations!

I say go ahead and renew them now. On the invitation, though, write something like, "No gifts please, only the pleasure of your company." So then people won`t be like, "Oh, she`s just trying to get more gifts." If you don`t do it now and something happens to your dad, you`ll feel really bad.

Do what makes you happy!!! If this is important to your, your huband and your father.....that`s all that matters! Enjoy your day!
