Ideas For A Bachelorette Party

I am the maid of honor for my best friend's wedding...and although the wedding is not for a little over 4 months obviously I've been thinking about what to do for the bachelorette party. Here's the thing... One of the bridesmaids is under age... So obviously no bars or anything of the sort can be included. Any ideas of what to do so fun can be had by all... And yet a memorable night for the bride to be? Any ideas would be helpful.

Hmm, Ctown - might I suggest a live rock band? Playing songs you & she know (from Beatles to Metallica to Radiohead), with a lead singer who's been in national fitness magazines....

Have you thought of hiring a celebrity impersonator or perhaps more than one?
Check out www.celebrity-doubles.com. I did and they were fantastic.

Of course I think the girls at a bacherlorette will have a screamin' rockn' hot exciting time singing all their favorite songs from the 60's 70's 80's. Just imagine. The cozy atmosphere around the piano, songs, that make the girls come back for more. The girls always love it.

Have you considered a scavenger hunt around town or within a certain area of your community. You could have all of the girls look for hidden messages or items and have the scavenger hunt end up at a suprise location, restaraunt or someone's home. Dont forget to capture the hunt on video or with pictures. You could even do a video scavenger hunt as well...

Another idea would be to check out boxparties.com. We have a great selection of bridal shower decorations and supplies...plus fun little extras that you could use in your scavenger hunt. We also have some ideas for prizes too.

Well I see the party is already over, but I was going to suggest the 15yr old stay home, I know that sounds mean but.....oh well, that's life.
Anyway, I am thinking about hiring a male stripper for a bachelorett party. Does any one approx. How much they cost?
Thanx

I had that problem one year I was in a wedding, we all went to a comedy club to begin, then we went to a bar where it was 18 and up, it was a lot of fun, anywhere your friends are, you will have fun. GOOD LUCK

We have the same problem. We are having a back yard cookout with all sorts of "naughty" stuff (penis ice cubes, pasta..that sort of stuff) Then we are trying to find a stripper to come to the house. After taht the girls who want to go to the bar with teh brude are free to do so and teh underage or older ones can go home. This way everyone is involved!

One of my maid of honors was under age and we just went to a restaurant that was a bar/dance club all in one and once we ate. Nobody carded her again so we kind of worked around it that way. And everyone sort of just brought her drinks...

What about having the party at your house and invite one or more strippers or play games . I planned one and we had a few games and I had everyone bring a gage gift. Here our a couple of games we played. I blowed up a picture of the groom and placed it on the wall and blind folded the guest and who ever placed the pin the closest to the peter won a price. I let them have three chances and I let the bride have four. I made them go in circles and stop before they placed the paper peter on the picture. Another game we played is I called it, items that the bride would take on her honeymoon and you could choose whatever topic you want. You will need paper, pencils and sacks. Have the guest number to ten . Number all the bags. Pass the bags around and they can feel shake, but can`t open and have them guess what is in there. The person that gets the most correct wins a price. I bought candles or lotions. I have other ideas that I have done and the party was a hit. I don`t know what kind of party you are throwing. My bunch is crazy. I hope I have helped. Stac

Host a Slumber Party, just like we did when we were teenagers - everyone wears their PJs or whatever they sleep in (with kids, I hope its clothes), they can eat/drink whatever they want without men around to eyeball them, stay up late, watch Pretty Woman or Sex in the City or Legally Blonde, get manicures, pedicures, massages, jump in the jacuzzi with a glass of bubbly, play stupid games (or poker), and just hang out with your friends. Its a blast!!! Party favors consist of spa-related items, like lavendar sachets, eye masks, samples of cologne or makeup, nail polish, bath & body works mini`s. You could also tell everyone to bring some old costume jewelry they never wear, or makeup they bought and never used, or hair things, throw them in a pile and let everyone have at them. I hope this is helpful. Have fun!

I am also planning a party for my best friend. Her wedding is in May. And i have planned for the bachelorett party to go out to dinner and the brides resturant of choise and then go to a comedy club. The bride had requested NO strippers and we also have an underage bridesmaid. There is drinking available for those of age at the comedy club and fun for those how are not.

I am actually in the same bout. What we did was planned an all girls camping trip. That way those who are of age and want to drink can drink. We have a bunch of party games planned. It also shows the boys the the girls can be rugged and adventorous too.
I hope this helps!..

Just went to a great bachelorette. Have a "pre party" first so the under age person can come. Decorate the room with bachelorette items :) and play some games. One thing is to write a story about the bride and groom meeting, take out the words and make it a dirty mad libs. There are tons of web sites with game ideas-check them out. After all the celebration there, the young person can head home if you want some adult fun. Good luck and have fun!
