WINTER WEDDING IDEAS - COLOR SCHEME

My daughter is having a Jan 2005 wedding. Her colors are black and ice pink. I am just loving her color choices. Black is sooo classy and the pink is just feminine. Her bridesmaids are wearing ice pink dresses with black sashes and her maid of honor is wearing a black dress with an ice pink sash. The Jr. Bridesmaid is in all ice pink and the flower girl in white. Tuxes will be black. We are decorating the reception with large white snowflakes hanging from the ceiling over the dance floor. We are also talking about having a snowflake drop rather than a balloon drop. We intend to have luminaries or snowflake lights along the sidewalk up to the reception door. We have talked about using small ice sculptures for centerpieces. Another idea is to serve hot cocoa, to "warm" things up. We have talked about putting mini marshmallows in favors on the tables for the hot cocoa. Any way. It is your wedding and if you love pink use pink. It will be gorgeous. Good Luck.

Becky, that sounds beautiful. I never thought about black and ice pink with snowflakes before! I always used to think baby blue and silver. U could even do snowflake centerpieces with styrafoam and glitter and confetti or sumthin.
