Sweet 16 For A Latina?

Is is okay for a Mexican American girl to celebrate her 16`s even though she is Mexican? I`m not sure which one I want. I really dont know anything about my culture-Hispanic, but I really dont konw what u do at a 15erea. Plz help me.

I am going to give my 13 yr. Old daughter a Sweet 15, instead of a Quinceara. All you would need is:
A hall
Food
LOTS OF GOOD MUSIC!!!
I gave my son a 16th birthday party and it was a hit!!! Less expensive than a Quinceneara.
