What about one or both of you taking a 2nd job somewhere that the employee discount will work in your favor? Like a craft store, fabric store, party supply place, weekend position with a caterer and so on. Your discount will be very good and you will have access to all of the items that will be going on sale before anyone else does. My neighbor, for her daughter`s sweet sixteen, took a weekend job with the caterer washing dishes, cleanup, packing, delivery, and not only did she make extra $$, she was also given the party food at cost with minimal labor charges, no deposit on any of the chafers or serving pieces.

I think instead of investing in a wedding, you need to invest in some schooling. I have rarely read a post with so many spelling and grammatical errors in my whole life. My 8-year-old nephew spells better than you. Besides the fact that people are entitled to their opinions, and in todays world, you could hardly blame people for sounding doubtful when others start begging for money.
