DJ Help

I was wondering if there anyone that can help me. I am trying to put together a wedding by myself because my fiancee is in the military and stationed out in the Middle East. We have been trying to find a good DJ that is not too expensive to do the reception. The problem that I am running into is that I live in LA so all of the good DJ`s as far as I can tell are very expensive. The other thing is that out wedding is January 1 so a lot of them are going to be doing parties and clubs that night. Any help anyone can give me would be much appreciated. :-)
