Maui Wedding Coordinator - Disaster !!!
If you are planning your wedding on Maui - Please beware of the wedding coordinators "Simply Married". They just simply take your $$$ and run. I got nothing from them after putting down a deposit for my wedding. The lady (Aulani) took off and was on the Big Island the week I was in Maui for my wedding. She never only offer one selection for all of the vendors, and was not even on the island the week of my wedding - I did everything (research, etc.) myself. To top it off, she was supposed to pay all of the vendors (church, musicians) with the lump sum check I mailed to her 4 weeks before the wedding. Since she did mail the check until the day before my wedding, none of my vendors (including the church) had been paid - talk about ruining a wedding!!! Anyway, I file a complaint with the State of Hawaii against her and of course she has not responded to the numerous requests for an explaination that they've sent to her. Do yourself a favor - DO NOT USE SIMPLY MARRIED FOR YOUR WEDDING.
