Irish (sung In Both English&Gaelic) Songs
Irish Born, New York raised, I have a four-plus octave range. My specialties are Irish/Gaelic songs as well as 30's and 40's standards and Jazz songs. I also sing 50's Bebop/Swing and am a quite accomplished singer with over 20 years of singing professionally.
There is nothing quite as beautiful as Traditional Irish music at a wedding, particularly. I don't sing Jigs......the stuff Americans expect. I WILL, however, sing a few jig/reel songs at a party/wedding reception and show you the dance steps. Everyone will stay late and go home feeling grand!!!! If it's a stuffy reception you desire, you'll not be wanting me. My jazz singing would suit a more low-key(but fun) reception!
As for the jazz/swing/torch songs (many standards such as Cole Porter), if you want the wedding reception you'll never foget, with everyone on the dance floor, I'm the one to call!!!!! A comptent pianist is a must! And for Irish Music, a good acoustic guitarist and/or Harpist is a DREAM COME TRUE!!!!!

That sounds great! You should consider using AUDIO clips of your voice on a website! I'm going to try that.
As a singer myself I think it would be cool for people to here me!!!!

Mark,
I don't know how to reply to you directly. Good luck with your music and I will, in the future, record more professional demos to place on my website. I'd love to hear your music, so do let me know via email, when you have a site/sound samples up and running.
Cheers,
Barbara Kelly
