Christmas In MAY??
My wedding isn`t until next May and I really wanted my 2 bridesmaids to wear a deep red, almost wine colored dresses. Since one is really tan and the other is really fair the color will complement them both well. Plus, they really seem to like the color.
Now here`s my problem. My FMIL has decided that she`s wearing green. So are my pictures going to looking like its Christmas?! Oh, and my FMIL has bright dyed red hair. Now maybe I`m becoming one of those obessive bridezillas and worrying about nothing.
But does anyone think that its weird that she`ll be wearing green???

Hi Dawn,
I just wanted to let you know that I had my bridesmaids wear dark red. The dresses were made by a local seamstress. I showed her a picture of an Alfred Angelo dress I liked and she replicated them. So anyway, if your girls don`t have dresses yet you might consider these, I know my bm`s will never wear them again and would be willing to sell them pretty cheap. I had four girls...the dresses are size 2, 5, 10-12, & 20...if I remember correctly. If you are interested let me know and I can get exact sizes. I can email you pictures if you like. About your wedding looking like christmas, no...your FMIL will look like Christmas..but that`s all :-) And really, since your wedding is nearly a year away there`s a good chance she`ll have changed her mind since then.

It depends on what green she will wear.......there are so many shades it will probably look fine. Your girls aren`t wearing "Christmas" red and I doubt she will wear "christmas" green.

Actually, green is a pretty nuetral color (and looks fab on redheads)..I wouldn`t stress about it..I think it will look fine..you wouldn`t want her to wear a red dress..I really think green is a pretty good choice, and don`t worry about it looking Christmasey, it won`t :0)
