Winter Wedding Location

I am planning a winter wedding (way in advance) and am looking for any ideas for an interesting/original type of location! I`m getting married in Connecticut, so its sort of a New England Winter theme. I want to stay away from the big chain hotels and golf courses. I`m looking for something intimate (since There`s only going to be between 100 and 150 people) and something that kinda fits into the rustic "ski lodge" atmosphere...any ideas?
