50th Anniversary -Help!

Help...I need some ideas on a 50th anniversary toast for my parents. We are having a formal dinner/dance with 75 guests. My parents have 4 children, 9 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Think about using beautiful gold 50th anniversary mylars mixed with pearlized gold and white latex balloons for centerpieces on the tables. Take their wedding picture and photocopy it spaced on the paper so that you can create a paper lid for a small paper box for each guest and fill with candy. Have balloons imprinted with their names and anniversary date and fill the room with them. Create a display table with mementos from each of the 50 years.

My brother and I along with 5 other grandchildren are giving my parents a 50th wedding anniversary reception on May 9th of this year. Their actual anniversary date is may 3rd. I need some help writing a Toast/poem... Something to that effect.
