Hi,
My fiance and I are trying our best with planning our wedding. We need to plan a wedding for under 900 dollars, its hard for us he was overseas for a year, and when he came back he loaned a lot of money to family in need and also of course bills which everyone has but doesnt want. How can we plan a wedding without actually spending a lot of money?! thanks.

Hi! i want to donate my wedding dress to any of you who is a size 2 or 4. It`s also a Richard Tyler gown, bought for $4200.00 let me know if you`re interested.

I am going through the same dilemma, planning an inexpensive but nice wedding. I almost want to cry at how challenging it is.

For the one donating the dress, I am that size if it`s not too late. May you be blessed.

1. Avoid wedding departments. Anything wedding related is OVERPRICED!
2. Try DIY things ie making ur own invites
3. Anyone with a big backyard? have d reception there.
4. Cut down on guests. Do you really need to invite your long lost kindergarten pal?
4. If possible have a no kids event so dat Aunt Betty`s footbal team wont be there.
5. If u use flowers to decorate go wih stuff in season.
6. Check ebay, hobby lobby etc for good bargains
7. Rope in friends and family with skills. Cousin Tim takes nice fotos, so let him do d fotos dat day. Great Aunt Slyvia is a seamstress who can sort out d bride`s maids.
8. Consider wearing a white evening gown or bridesmaids dress. Cheaper and just as nice!
9. If u get any wedding gifts u dont like/use sell them!
10.Consider an evening wedding so u can serve snacks instead of a full meal.
Hope dis helps!

I`m doing the same thing and a small wedding is the best idea we have think of people that may know others with large spaces, don`t rent you`ll go broke and think of themes like instead of buying an expensive wedding dress try a nice prom dress, or even go to craigslist and see if anyone is getting rid or a dress your size. But prom dresses work as far as catering goes try getting family to help cook stuff . Places are easy to find and so are priests all you need is an ordained minister of some sort and your good. Do go too fancy. Go easy and cheap cut corners wherever you can trust me it will work!

I`m two hours from Houston. Anyone near there. I`m a party decorator and I`ve done weddings for 1,000 or less. I work from home so my prices are kept low.

It`s not hard at all!!! I am also getting married and have no funds. So I plan to use fake flowers which cost $30.00. Finger foods which can be made at home. David bridal has their 99 dollar sale for a wedding dress. Or you can buy one lesser than that on the web. Have the brides maids and groom men either rent the items or us the web as well. There are really cheap things on the internet. I paid 20.00 for a set of wedding bands. Good luck!! God bless you also in your new life as a married couple!!
