Help! Where`s A Perfect Reception Spot?

Hi, my name is Amber and I`m hoping someone can help me. I"m from Fall River Nova Scotia but am living in Washington State with my husband. We`re holding a ceremony in haifax to be blessed by the church and have a familly affair. I`m trying to do all the planning via internet and phone. Nobody at home seems to be much help. I`m looking for any kind of ideas, preferably something peaceful and romantic. We`re the outdoorsy type, but would need something with an option of going indoors as one can never perdict the weather--and I`m not a gambler. Also, price is a bit of a hurtle. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
