David`s Bridal Style 5339 Size 18 NEW Gown

I have a new, NEVER WORN, size 18 Style 5339 David`s bridal gown that I am looking to sell for $500 including crinalin, original purchase price being $649 (I believe. I will double check if there is interest) plus tax for the gown alone. I also have an elbow length veil of uncorded organza with pearls and rhinestones that get closer together the further to the edge one goes. The veil was $150, but I am willing to sell it for $100. All pieces still have original price tags attached, along with a small bag of extra beads and sequins for the gown. It`s a beautiful gown and I would hate to see it have no usage.

Hey there.

I`d be interested to know more about your gown. What color is it, and when was it purchased? Did you have any alterations done? After trying what felt like dozens of gowns, that one is a favorite. They were offering it for $459, though. Any interest in reducing your price? Please let me know. Thanks for considering. Warm regards,
Tamara

Hi Tamara,

Thanks for your reply. It was my favorite as well, hence me buying it :) I`m not sure why it is being offered at such a low price. That`s interesting. I was just in there about 3 weeks ago, picking up a bridesmaid`s gown for my friend`s wedding and it was still the same price, $649. It`s possible it is offered at different prices at different areas of the country. In any event. I`d be delighted to give you more information and provide pictures as well. As far as the price, because of the circumstances I`m afraid I`m firm on ($500). I was throwing the veil and crinalin in free, as they were an additional $200 together. Let me know if you would like me to go forward with sending you exact measurements and pictures. Thanks again, very much, for your inquiry!

Best Regards,
Julie

Hi Tamara,

To answer your basic questions as far as color and alterations, THere have been NO alterations, tags still on, and it is the completely white style. I know that it comes in a beige as well. FYI, it has also been properly stored away from moisture, heat, and sun.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Julie

Thanks, Julie.

I`m not sure why, either. When I tried the dress--in white--the tag was marked at $549, and they said with the current sale it would be $100 less. Then I asked to see the beige and gold version, and they did not have my size. The seamstress said I was out of luck because it was a discontinued gown, and was not available for order in another size. Then the sales girl said that it was not discontinued, but the standard price had been reduced. Weird, eh? Anyway, I like the white, but I`m crazy about the two-tone ivory and gold, so I think that`s the route I`ll go. Thanks again for all the information. Best wishes!

Cheers,
Tamara
