HELP I AM PLANING A OUT OF STATE WEDDING: LOW
I am in a real crisis here i am on a very low budget with a very high amout of guests(200-250) well maybe not high but it is ming boggeling for me! The date is July 21, 2006. That may seem like a lot of time but there are so many other things going on i need to find a place this year, hopefully soon! my only form of finding a venue is on the internet for the time being. We would really LOVE a place that we could have the ceremony and the reception. Semi to informal. The reception we be about 150-200 people! please help me! Thank YOU all,

I forgot to also say that i am looking for an outdoors place maybe in a field or park, some where between ilinios and indiana. Other states would be helpful also!

I would recommend going to the states websites www.illinois.gov and www.in.gov look under tourism, visiting, parks and recreation/ On the illinois site try clicking on "visiting" and then "parks" then if you click on "lodging/leasing" it will take you to a listing of parks with conference centers and lodges that could possibly work. On the indiana site click on "tourism and recreation" then I would try "state park inns and campgrounds" Hopefully that helps you navigate a little. But you`d be surprised at how much information you can find on state websites under tourism and parks, also most cities and towns have websites too that you can find by googling the name of the city/town. Once you have a website you can just look under parks and recreation or tourism and visitors. Anyway, hope this helps. Let me know if you need some more ideas on anything, I`m in the same boat so I know what you`re going through. It is definitely hard to plan a wedding out of state. Oh, Do you have anyone in the area that could maybe help you out? I definitely recommend enlisting the help of others that you trust if at all possible. I really don`t know anyone in that area we a having it there because it is in the middle of our families! wisconsin(his) south dakota, colorado, and the east coast(mine)! thank you so much for your help!
