Renewing Vows At 5th Anniversay - 2nd Marriag

I married my soulmate in a nice, simple yet tramatic ceremony almost 5 years ago. I was HUGE and didn`t try on the home made dress until the day of the wedding. I looked like a fat cow. (I`ve thrown away the pictures that are not waste up) Also, when I showed up for my special day and NOTHING was set up by the people who said they would be there. My family had to quickly set things up and the wedding ended up starting an hour and a half late. Also, out of 112 who RSVP`d as YES only 65 people came and 20 of them were my family and 15 were his family! I can`t look back at that day with fond memories as the whole day made me want to cry. I remember walking down the isle (the the WRONG MUSIC because the guy didn`t even look at the requested song sheet) and I was crying. Not because I was getting married but because my perfect day didn`t go anything like I had hoped. I was marrying my PRINCE, why couldn`t I feel like a princess?

So here comes our 5th (June 10, 2005) and I`m loosing weight FAST. I plan to be down from a size 28(which I was when I married him) to a size 10/12. My husband, this is my second and LAST, says that he thought the wedding was beautiful but wants to honor our love and the milestone of loosing over 120 lbs by our next anniversary. I want to go on a cruise to Hawaii and have a beach ceremony with a few private friends and family. But I want to have the dress I never was able to have - now that I have the body. Also, I want a new pair of wedding rings (our were the dinky golden bands) that I`ve always dreamed of.

We have planned the cruise but haven`t talked to family about redoing our vows as a real wedding. My father didn`t want to walk me down the isle on this second one and so my step father went with me.

Is this dream unrealistic? Since this would be the THIRD time I put on a wedding dress, is that inappropraite? Please let me know.

Technically, according to bridal etiquite, you shouldn`t wear a traditional wedding dress. But I say if you got it, flaunt it, and if you want to be the beautiful bride that you always wanted, go ahead and do it, and don`t care what anyone else thinks. This is your day and you should be happy. BTW, how did you lose weight so fast?

I`m still losing weight (not fully there yet) through Michael Thurmon`s 6 Wekk Body Makeover. It`s the most awesome, and easy, program that I`ve ever used. Lost 12lbs my first two weeks! No surgury, no starvation. Just real, sensible food program based on your metabolism type. If you want more information go to www.provida.com. It`s well worth every penny!

P.S. - I was trying to get approved for the gastric bypass surgery but got denied. Then I found out that I could do it myself with this program and not have to deal with scars and being sick all the time. Hope this helps you! Also, if you are interested in healthy stuff, check out www.via2live.com. It`s a suppliment that is just awesome!
