I Have A Fall Wedding, Too

My fiance and I are getting married Oct. 23, 2004. For our fall theme, the girls dresses are a very deep red. (check out alexia.com - the color is claret, and in person it`s a beautiful, deep crimson color)...
I`m in the process of doing our own invitations and I used pictures of fall leaves from photos.com and created the invitations in Photoshop. I was thinking about a square cake w/ivory icing and crab apples and pears (real ones) along the layers.
For the centerpieces, I would like to use a copper or rustic urn and fill it with deep red, orange, and gold flowers... Plus have crab apples, and pears, too. Grapes could hang over the side as well. Plus, I`ll put about 12 small votive candles per table.. Does anyone have any other good ideas about centerpieces for a fall wedding?? My idea isn`t set in stone yet, it`s still a work in progress. Thanks!!!!
