HELP!!! HOW DO I WORD A RELOCATION INVITE??
Hi -
My fiance and I were planning a September wedding in Florida, but my dad just became ill, so we relocated the wedding near our home town. How do I word my new invites to send out (I already sent out invites for Florida)? We weren`t expecting a lot of people to come to Florida, but now that we are having it close to home, I would assume more people will be attending. Someone please help, I am crunched for time.....THANKS!

You don`t need to send out new invitations. Just have cards printed up. The traditional wording would be like this --
Mr. And Mrs. William Smith
Announce that
The location of the marriage of their daughter
Susan Ann
To Mr. John Doe
Has been changed to
The FuFu Country Club
Miami, Florida
You can include the date again if you want, and maps or directions.
If your wedding is less formal, it`s perfectly acceptable to send less formally styled notes or make phone calls, especially if you are running out of time with your date coming soon.
Good luck

I think postcards stating the new information would be appropriate, and it would help you save on postage. Or, if you have bridemaids, groomsmen, or anyone else who would be willing to help out, they could split up the guest list and have each of them call a certain number of people to relay the change. Good luck, and good thoughts to your Dad~

Since you only sent invitations to a few people the first time, I would just send the re-invites a post card or something. For the new invites, I would send out a regular invitation (just pretend you never sent out previous invitations).
If you are having a less formal wedding, you could try send-n-seal invites. They are very reasonable about $1 each. You can`t even make your own that cheap. Rexcraft has a nice selection and seem to be the most reasonable.

I didn`t see anything about new invitees. I thought she sent out all her invitiations and wanted to resend something with the new information.
