$99 Wedding Dresses
If you live in the area, go to www.davidsbridal.com
From now until January 14 they have a certain amount of dresses on sale for $99 (plus other sales). If you know someone who can sew on some netting or beading you might be able to snaz up a plain, cheaper dress.

I just thought I would let anyone who is interested know that I bought my dress from David's Bridal for $99. However, I found the dress not on the sale rack but in and among the other dresses. I ABSOLUTELY loved it, and then saw that the tag showed the dress was marked down. It happened to be in my size and was just perfect. I bought it right there. Everyone who has seen it can not believe the price I paid for it. So, it pays off to shop around a bit. Just because you like the dress does not mean that you will like the price. For me, the price was the selling factor.
I also bought my veil on www.usedweddingdresses.com. They have a great policy and a great site. You can view the item via the pictures they have on the site and even pay through your checking account and not a credit card. Plus, if you are not satisfied with the item once you receive it you can return it for a refund. The veil was only $30, is seven and a half feet long and has pearls throughout. It is beautiful! Some of the stuff they have is used, but some of it is actually overruns and overstocks. I really enjoyed using their site. The veil is in perfect condition, does not look worn at all, and matches my dress. And I only paid $130 for a dress and a veil!

DO NOT GO TO DAVIDSBRIDAL.COM....OR FOR THAT MATTER THE ACTUAL STORE. THE $99 WEDDING DRESSES ALL LOOK LIKE MISS AMERICA PAGENT DRESSES & PRETTY MUCH ARE A SIZE 10 OR LESS.
MY SISTERS AND I WENT TO THE DAVIDS BRIDAL IN COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA. FIRST, THERE WERE ONLY ABOUT 6 DRESSES TO CHOOSE FROM THAT WERE $99 AND ALL OF THEM WERE SMALL SIZES. THEN, WE WERE NEVER TOLD AN APPOINTMENT WAS NEEDED (AFTER AN HOUR OF SEARCHING THROUGH THE DRESSES), THE EMPLOYEES WORKING THAT DAY HATED THEIR JOBS AND A LOT OF THEM WERE QUITE RUDE, THE PLACE WAS UNORGANIZED, AND MY SISTERS DID ALL THE WORK WHEN I WAS FINALLY "ASSIGNED" TO A "CONSULTANT". SHE (THE CONSULTANT) NEVER EVEN TRIED TO DO HER JOB. AFTER 3 HOURS OF TRYING ON DRESSES, I FOUND A DRESS I LIKED. BROUGHT IT TO THE CHECK OUT COUNTER AND THE "ASSISTANT MANAGER" COULDN`T TAKE MY CHECK BECAUSE IT WAS A CORPORATE POLICY NOT TO ACCEPT CHECKS UNDER A 300 # SERIES. SUPPOSEDLY, MY CHECK WOULD HAVE BOUNCED. I ENDED UP WALKING OUT, UNHAPPY, AND WITHOUT A DRESS. I PUT IN A COMPLAINT TO THE DISTRICT MANAGER, AND NEVER RECEIVED A RETURN PHONE CALL LIKE I WAS PROMISED. I TRIED TO EMAIL SOMEONE AND THE EMAIL ADDRESS DID NOT WORK.
BASICALLY, I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE DAVIDS BRIDAL IN COSTA MESA, CALIFORNIA.

I, too, know 2 brides who had difficulties with David`s Bridal. With the first, we kept wondering when our bridesmaids dresses were coming in. The bride called several times. On about the third time, they looked and said that one of the girls had not been paid for, so the dresses had not even been ordered yet. BUT THE GIRL HAD INDEED PAID FOR HER DRESS ALREADY!!!! With the other bride, she paid for her dress (for a September wedding). They postponed her delivery date 4 or 5 times. On the last time, she told them she needed to know for sure when the dress would be there (this was in May, I think). They couldn`t do it, so she demanded a refund and went elsewhere.

I do not recomend that anyone use Davids bridal in pittsburgh,pa. Everytime i have gone to this store i have ran into some kind of trouble. They made my what is supposed to be, a fun time as a bride to be, into an awful experience. I was told when i bought my dress that my head piece and any accessories i needed would be 15% off anytime i wanted to purchase them before my wedding. I made various trips to the store looking for just the right headpiece. Time after time they would tell me the same thing. When it came time that i was to purchase the accessories they told me that i couldnt that i had to buy it the same time as the dress. After many arguements with them and a call to there headquarters i finally got 15%off. The jewlery, and handbags were not given to me at 15%off as they had promised. At the same time, the dress i had waited to come in for 3 months somehow came in 2 sizes to big, 2 months beofre the wedding. The dress was in and they didnt call to tell me. They said they left a message on my machine. The only thing was that I do not have an answering machine. They left a message with a man at a wrong number. I went into the store one other day to ask them to pull my card to see which veils i had liked. I was told that they couldnt pull the card unless i could remember the bridal consultants name that had helped me. I asked them to please look on the computer to see who it was. After a rude comment they did it. This took only seconds for them to do. The shoes that i had picked out in my size had worn out soles. They gave me a discount on this, but then forgot to ring it up that way. I am currently waiting for next week to come for the store to email the warehouse. To see if they can get me my dress in time. This is the worst service I have had anywhere. It would be better to pay more than have the kind of service this store will give you.

If anyone has the complaint address or telephone number for the higher ups at David`s Bridal, please email them to me. I absolutely loved my dress and so did everyone else that saw me in it, but after having dropped at least 3000$ dollars in their lap they were still extemely rude and unhelpful to myself and my bridal party. I have been telling everyone who would listen not to go there. I thought I was being over dramatic, but I guess not. I want to read them off so badly. Please email me whatever you have to get intouch with someone with pull at David`s Bridal, Corp.

Hi,
I`m also interested in a phone number reaching David`s Bridal Corporate HQ. I purchased a dress after the saleslady kept reminding me that the sale was ending the next day... Only to find out that the same sale was brought back on the week after! I`m now stuck with a dress that I don`t like.. Without getting my money back!
Please let me know the phone # if anyone has it out there!
