How Was The Winner Chosen?

As we all know by now, PartyPop had the final decision as to who would be the winner.
As it turns out, the contest of the stories had very little to do with the process of choosing the winners.
Out of curiosity, I was wondering what other criteria they used in judging the winner and how the final decision was made.
I am surprised that PartyPop has not commented on this, at least to my knowledge.
I am sure there are a lot of people wondering about this.
It almost seems like it would have been a lot easier just to have all the entrants put their names in a hat and a winner be chosen, LOL!
