Photographers -- Booooo
I would like to vent a little on my lovely photographer who shall remain nameless on the board for right now. ARGH. Innovative! Creative! Different!! Boo ... My guests took better pictures with their $3.00 disposable cameras!! I feel like a complete smuck for buying all the poo this fella fed me. You all should have seen the pictures in his studio, they were beautiful, so different, with all different types of lens work, making even the smallest wedding look so unique. That is even what attracted me, that we didnt have a lot of money for our event, so I decided what better way to spend what we did have then on the photographer that could make the memories look so good!! Sigh, just do me a favor and research research research research your photographer, hire a private investigator and find out what his real pictures look like *just kidding* ... But for real, feel them out for a week before you give them any money. Cuz now the wedding is over, the pictures are horrible and We`re broke!

Sue that A hole for your money back. I think legally you are allowed to say who it is but I am not sure...I would say everything but the actual name the city and begining of name and maybe street it is on. The wedding is really all you have left to enjoy that really is a terrible thing that happend. Dont let it happen to someone else..........

I really would talk to a lawyer about this.if the studio presented profesional pictures and you received nothing close to that, then it is called``FALSE ADVERTISEMENT``.hopefully you saved your receipt for what package or deal you opt to pay for.wish you luck, and go for it..

Please check your contract to see if you`ve indicated understanding that "this is an uncontrolled event". Also, I`m so sorry for you! Some important things I recommend that my clients consider when choosing a photographer are: Do they have liability insurance to cover equipment or photographer failure? Do they bring backup gear? Do they have more than 5 good weddings? (I try to keep my books to a minimum, but I have lots of DVD`s and CD`s of wedding shows.) Do they have sample proofbooks? That`s where you`ll get an important feel for the photographers "in the camera" creativity. If you were very budget constrained, your photographer may have felt that you "weren`t worth the effort". I`m so sorry. The pictures are all you have left.
