Wedding Gift
I am invited to a friend`s son`s wedding. I am unable to attend. Do I give the same amount they gave my daughter last year when they ATTENDED the wedding?

I am getting married in Sept and we have invited some friends of our parents. I would say though that since you aren`t attending sending any kind of gift is nice.. So long as you give enough notice and they aren`t paying for you as a guest I wouldn`t worry about matching what they gave.

Yes, or a comprable gift. It`s not so much the amount, but it`s the thought. If they were thoughtful enough to give your daughter a gift, you should be thoughtful enough to return the favor. I think it has little to do with whether you attend the wedding or not.

I think a gift anywhere between 500-2500 is fine.... Dont be so cheap
