Parents Gifts

Okay...I`m am stuck. We are looking for parent`s gift ideas and do not have any clue what to get them...Yes we know about the engraved memorabilia, but we want something more creative, something they can use. Any ideas?

We are worrying about this one as well. In some of the books and mags and websites mention it is common to give large, expensive gifts like a weekend getaways. Is this really the way that it is. Obviously, those who have it to spare can afford something like this. I was wondering what the general consensus is on this? What are you giving to your parents, or what did you give?

We bought our parents each a round of golf. We all enjoy golfing and so we thought it would be a nice treat for them to go to a course that they normally wouldn`t play. They really enjoyed it.
