Looking For A Song To Walk Down The Aisle To

What about when bridesmaids are walking down the isle? Can Trumpet Voluntary be used for that?

If you don`t want the traditional "Here comes the bride" you have a zillion options.
My FH always sings "She`s got a way" by Billy Joel to me. It is unofficailly our song. This is the song I will be walking down the aisle to. Hopefully we won`t both be blubering fools by the time I reach the alter.
Use a song that is special to the two of you in some way.

Canon in D is always great because not only is it beautiful, it can be stopped at various stages and not sound weird so that you do not have to wait for it to end when you reach the alter.

I Love the musical of Pachellbel it is so pretty... It makes me cry everytime I hear it another good song it is the theme from Legend of the Fall... That is really beautiful as well!!!

I have a suggestion, not necessarily for the trip down the aisle but really anywhere in the ceremony you like.
Some of you may remember, Kci and JoJo`s "All My Life"......well I wouldn`t recommend the lyrics I would definitly say that the music is just BEAUTIFUL.
The song starts with a cello part (I used violins instead) then leads into the pianos piece.
I originally chose the song because it had a special meaning personally, but I received tons of compliments on that song specifically.
I also received compliments for having violins and the piano. I think it`s nice to having something besides the piano or organ. We even though about doing a drum cadence for the march down the aisle but it didn`t work out.

I don`t know if anyone still cares but I am going to walk down the aisle to Wagners "bridal chorus" its really traditional so if anyone is looking for anything traditional its a good one.

"Con Te Partiro" would be a beautiful song to walk to.
