Are There Any Other Titles Other Than Bridesm
Well I have kind of a problem. I had already chosen who we wanted in the Wedding Party, However, My fiance wants to add two more people ( His sister & cousin) but I don`t know what to do. Because I`ve chosen bridesmaids dresses and it would not look right on his sister.( She is a Big Girl ) Are there any other titles that I can assign to her that she can wear another dress that would look elegant on her,rather than unattractive.

You can call her an attendant. Will she be walking down the aisle with the rest of the bridesmaids? If so, you should probably call them all maids. If you get her a dress in the same/similar color and fabric, it won`t look strange if she is in a different style dress. In fact, having girls in different dresses is very stylish.

There`s no law saying all bridesmaids in a wedding party have to wear the same dress. I`m letting mine choose their own style of dress (they`ll all have the same fabric) because they range in sizes from 0 to 14, plus I`m not fanatical about everything matching. Your fiance`s sister can wear a slightly different dress and still be a bridesmaid.

You can ask her to be a reader at the wedding. I am having three, and they wil all wear the same shade as the bridesmaid dresses. Being a reader is a big job! It isn`t easy standing in the front of a huge audience speaking....Good luck to you.

I am having two of my good childhood friends be my "Guests of Honor" and they will be the guest book attendants and will be invited to the bridal luncheon with my bridemaids.
