Rehersal Dinner Invite List
Who exactly should be invited to the rehersal, & therefore the rehersal dinner? the spouses/girlfriend or boyfriend of the bridal party? children of the bridal party? spouse of father of the groom (not the mother of the groom)?

Anyone who is in the wedding, their s/o and children. Anyone who is an out of towner would normally be included in the rehersal dinner. At least that is whom I have been told =-)

The rehearsal dinner invites should always go to everyone in the wedding party and their spouses or significant others (no dates though), parents and grandparents (and stepparents, stepgrandparents) of the bride and groom (and their SO`s if they have), all siblings of bride and groom and their spouses (or their SO`s), any children of the bride or groom (unless they are too young), and the officiant. Those are the mandatory invites.
Many people opt to invite out of town guests or extended family. It`s very nice to do, but it`s up to you.

My opinion is anyone who has to travel a long distance, from out of town, really should be included in the rehearsal dinner.
