Birth Control

Alright, looking into ideas for this now...Depo is out of the question, had it before, gained nearly 100lbs and was completely depressed. Wanted to get the 5 year hormone IUD but its out of my price range. Has anyone tried the pill that also promotes weight loss? I think its called Yasmin but I`m not sure. Would apreatiate any first hand stories.

I just got the prescription for yasmin, i haven`t tried it yet, but my doctor also says it isn`t supposed to make you gain weight, or get acne. (which depo did both for me-horrible side effects). I`m taking to stop my period for the honeymoon.

I took this pill, this is the pill with the less side effects, i needed to change it because the dowse was to little for me, i got like the beginning of the period in the middle of the month, but try this pill, maybe it will be good for you, just don’t forget to take it :)

I have been on Yasmin for 2-3 years and haven`t had any side effects whatsoever. I switched because my old pills were giving me migraine headaches. I recommend it, although I haven`t lost any weight but my headaches are much better now. My doctor said the average weight loss is 3 lbs on Yasmin.
