LOOKING FOR SPONSERS
I AM A MARYLAND RESIDENT LOOKING TO GET A SPONSER FOR OUR WEDDING IN FT LAUDERDALE FLORIDA. TRADITIONALLY MY FATHER IS SUPPOSED TO PAY FOR THE WEDDING BUT, MY FAMILY DOES NOT HAVE MONEY LIKE THAT. ON THE OTHER HAND MY FIANCES FAMILY I S ALWAYS ASKING WHAT DO WE NEED, HOW MUCH DO WE NEED. BUT THE PROBLEM IS MY FAMILY WONT FEEL COMFORTABLE SHOWING UP AT THE WEDDING KNOWING THAT HIS SIDE OF THE FAMILY PAYED FOR EVERYTHING, SO I JUST WANTED TO TRY TO LET EVERYONE ENJOY THAT DAY AS MUCH AS ME AND MY FIANCE WILL WITH OUT ANY PROBLEM S OR CONFLICTS OF ANY KIND . SO I JUST WANTED TO FIND A SPONSOR TO HELP WITH SOME OF THE COST OF MY WEDDING WHICH WE HAVE AN ESTIMATED COST OF 5400
AND I NEED HELP WITH AT LEAST HALF SO THERE IS NO PROBLEM BETWEEN FAMILIES BECAUSE OF THEIR FINANCIAL STATUS, BECAUSE I DO AGREE THAT BOTH FAMILYS SHOULD AT LEAST MEET EACH OTHER HALF WAY AND ONE SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BEAR ALL OF THE COST. I agree with some posts that after all, the title of the post should indicate our interest, maybe not "rage" so to speak. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, yes. But I am surprised by the angry responses. I think the angry responses represent people who have been "victim" so to speak of freeloaders, such as usually family members who took advantage of kindness or other ways to help and now can`t stand people looking for what they consider "handouts". I think wedding sponsorship is really meant for people with UNBELIEVABLE circumstances, not just two people who struggle to make ends meet, which are most of us. That is where sponsorhip is taken too lightly. There are people who could really use donations, and very new companies who could really use publicity, they seem like a good fit. Maybe we could just be thankful that our situation is not so extreme that we look for sponsorships. There are some who just want everyone handed to them, but there really are people who are doing their best but still falling a little short. Okay, if you think it is tacky and you find it repulsive, look at the title of the post "Looking for Sponsors"...if you don`t intend to help out, then why aggravate yourselves by even reading it? DeeDee, I hope you get the help you need. There are still nice people in the world who are willing to help. Just keep looking, you`ll find sponsors in your area. Good luck!

Bitter cow? I think SO WHAT is the bitter cow. You really do have a horrible attitude, and you just showed everyone how classless you really are. Angela, I agree with you.
