Flowergirl

We are having an outdoor wedding in a garden. I was wondering. Where does the flowergirl go after walking down the aisle? Her mother is also my maid of honor. Does she go and sit with her father with the rest of the guests or does she stand at the alter with us? Thanks in advance for your help.

Typically, flower girls stand at the altar with the wedding party. But, some choose to sit with their parents/parent for the ceremony. This is your choice!!

Thanks Beth. I wasn`t sure if there was a "rule" for this or not

No problem!! Usually, children who are rowdy or aren`t at the age to stand quietly for a period of time are those who choose to sit with the parents. If she is well-behaved, it would be nice for her to stand with yall, especially if mother is already up there:)

She is very well behaved, we went with an older child (8) for this reason. One more question though. Do you think it would look okay with her up there without a ring bearer on the grooms side. We couldn`t find anyone who was old enough or well enough behaved to handle that role so we chose to go without one. Thanks again

Yes, it would be perfectly OK. I have a jr. Groomsman, but no jr. Bridesmaid. It doesn`t have to be equal. It would be much better to do it this way, rather than search for someone just to stick in the wedding, you know?
