Bridal Showers

Besides the maid of honor, who else gives a shower for the bride? Any family members?

Generally, showers are given by bridesmaids and/or MOH. Family members, traditionally, are not supposed to give showers, but anything goes these days:)

My maid of honor will be hosting one of my showers while some friends of my future mother-in-law will be hosting the others. I have heard it is not typical for immediate family to host a shower but i have heard of aunts or cousins hosting them..

Other than immediate family members, ANYONE can throw the shower. Often the bridesmaids and moh do it, but only if they choose to do it. It isn`t mandatory.

Anyone can do a bridal shower, mostly the MOH does the bachlorette parties, but anyone can do that showers. I am having 4, i already have 1 which my future-mother-in-law threw that, then my aunt & mom are throwing me one, then my step mom & dad are, then a friend i work w/ is...So it doesn`t really matter who does it!! Just have fun!!
