Mori Lee Catalog/Contacts?

I recently tried on a Mori Lee dress, strapless, size 16, white, with gatherings/folds in the middle and can`t find it anywhere online, including the Mori Lee website. Does anyone know how to find this dress? I called the bridal shop for the #, but they gave me THEIR # and said they can`t give me the dress Mori Lee gave it for some dumb reason. (Probably so I couldn`t find it anywhere else!) Does Mori Lee have a catalog, or any way to contact them???? Trust me, I`ve looked EVERYWHERE online and can`t find anything...wedding is in a few months and don`t want to/can`t pay the salon price. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What right minded person would buy gowns from a shop that went out of business and then sell them here and LOSE MONEY!!

Nicole,

Go to EBAY if you want to sell your dresses at a profit or not at a profit. You have multiples, therefore, you are a business. Illegal business, as you are not paying taxes, but you`re a business. Look up "Business" in the dictionary, you`ll understand the word better. Don`t feed us garbage and tell us that you`re not making money, it wouldn`t make sence, and you know it. You`re making yourself look like a fool. We know how the "system" works......

So if a bride buys three gowns for her wedding, and wants to sell two, she cannot do that here? Why does it upset you that someone might do this? Who is harming you and in what way?

Seems like I`m not the one with the problem... I could show you my receipt and you can look up the only price I`ve quoted here... You`d see it`s less than what I paid... I honestly could not care one bit less whether or not you believe me or what you think. I am not concerned with your dealings on this site or any other, you might do well to not concern yourself with matters that don`t involve you.

So you bought these gowns from a bridal shop that was going out of business for your wedding and now you want to sell here for less than what you paid??
Not to smart!! Maybe you shouldn`t go into business because you wont last long. And I agree with Genna, go to Ebay and dont waist our time here!! I hope the people at partypop boot you off this site. There are enough scamers here on this site ( just look back at the past postings)!!

Just a question, why do you buy 3 wedding gowns, you are going to wear 1, isn’t it expensive?

Again, really none of your business why. And why are you so anxious to get me off this site? The only reason I found this site is because I did a search for "Watters 8032B" and saw that someone here was looking for one, and I have one... One that I was sure I`d wear for my wedding but now am not... And wanted to offer it to that person. Why does that bother you? and why shouldn`t that person be able to get a helpful reply to her inquiry without your venom attached to it?

Give me a break...

I hope you`re stuck with the dresses for good. You have a horrible attitude, I was actually looking into one of the dresses you were trying to sell, and was trying to find out what you were all about. But you don`t see what you`re doing wrong. When you sell something, you did business, profit or no profit. As for buying 3 dresses, I think you know, as well as everyone else on this board knows, that you`re intentions were to sell them for more, the store was closing, therefore, the dresses were probably 50% - 90% off. You could get a higher quote from any store that sells Watters and Watters - of course it`ll be higher! They`re not going out of business. So the equation: Store closed, you got the dresses for dirt cheap, and now you`re selling them for a profit. That is fine, you can do that - but don`t friggen` deny it! Again, I hope no one is dumb enough to buy from a liar like you. Very poor business attitude on your behalf, shame on you!

Um, Glenna, I said RECEIPT... Not quote... There`s a difference. I bought the Watters gown through a discounter, not the shop that went out of business where I found the gown I AM wearing for my wedding, and I`m STILL selling it for less than the discounter`s price...

And I would say that assuming the worst about someone is a pretty horrible attitude, too.

Good luck with your wedding plans.

Isn`t this site suppose to be for brides looking for help with the wedding and not someone running an
"illegal" business?? It sure sounds like a scam to me and I would advice all brides to stay clear of this person. I hope the people at partypop look into this person. If she is legit, than so be it but if she is not then partypop should protect this site from people like her.

Oh for crying out loud

From whom are brides supposed to get help if not from other brides? from these "vendors" who have done nothing other than yell about me having 2 gowns to sell? I am not running a business, and I pay all my taxes, so selling 2 dresses does not mean I am doing anything "illegal" - if partypop wants me off their site, they have that right, but that doesn`t make my actions illegal.

Whatever... I can`t believe how nasty some of you are... I`m glad I already found my gown and am not looking for it here because the motives here are anything but helpful. I honestly have no idea how I wronged any of you.

I have to say that I would think you`re trying to scam people too. You`re not a store, yet you have more than one dress, and you INSIST that you`re not making money on it. I don`t care that you`re making money on it, but nothing is making any sence out of your postings. Why would you buy so many dresses if you planned on selling them for less than you paid for them. I don`t see the logic. Maybe you should be helping the girls in the "Sponsorship" area then. You seem to be very "generous". I can see how the vendors would be upset with you. No matter what you say, I agree with Genna, you are a business if you are selling anything in multiples.

Hello!I have two wonderful dresses for sale. My two weddings (one in Mexico, the other in the US) had to be canceled and I need to recup as much as possible from the expenses already made. Dress 1 does not have tags and although it has not been worn to a wedding nor altered, it needs cleaning since it was used for modeling. It is a size 10 (36” bust, 27” waist). The dress has an underskirt attached so there is no need to buy one. Dress 2 is new with tags and never modeled. It is a size 14 (38.5” bust, 29.5” waist) and luckily I did not altered at all. It is a Mori Lee style 6011 and does not need any cleaning at all. It does not have a petticoat but I bought a used one that I would include with the dress. Make me an offer! For pictures:

Amanda,

Shelley and Nicole are right about the law. You are wrong. One need not be a lawyer to know this. I`m not, but this I do know: It is ILLEGAL to remove the tags. The reference Nicole sent you is very clear about this. It clearly states the practice of removing tags is ILLEGAL. To me, there is no defense of this deceptive practice. Stores do this to confuse customers and jack up the price. All that fillibustering of a response of yours is a moot point. IT IS I-L-L-E-G-A-L, whether you try to sugarcoat it or explain it away, it is illegal. Brides have every right to know the ACCURATE style number and manufacturer of the gown they are trying on. The law that forbids removal of tags is there, and with very good reason. I would not purchase from a shop that removed tags, no matter how much I liked the dress. Find a reputable shop that won`t do it. Not being able to take photos in a salon is pretty commonplace, but removal of tags? H--- no.

I can`t believe people are working this hard to find Mori Lee dresses. I just bought one because I am a bridesmaid and it is the poorest quality item I have ever purchases. Uneven seams, tape marks, hooks that have to hook into thread rather than the other part of the hook (and even that thread was already ripped), cheap material, zippers that don`t zip because they are cheap, not because the dress doesn`t fit. No wonder I can`t find direct contact for the company to complain if this is what you get.
