1940`s Wedding

My friend is having a 1940`s themed wedding. She is haveing it set up like a 1940`s club, with small tables and caberet lamps. SHe is looking for caberet lamps to either rent or buy. She also wants something as a placecard holder. Something that was popular in the 1940`s or early 50`s. Any websites, or ideas you could give as far as the decor and new ideas and the era of the 1940-1950`s would be great. She would also like all the groomsmen to be in 1940-50`s attire for the wedding.. Instead of tuxedo`s of today.
Centerpieces- she is open to taht too.. Altough she was thinking of having cakes an centerpieces. A 9inch base with a 5 inch on top, in either buttercream or fondant.
