Confused

Just wanted to know how to get on the right path on to becoming a wedding planner. What type of schooling and so on. Reply back please

As with any profession, there are multiple routes you could go. You might try to get work at a large event planner firm in your area and do a sort of apprentice period until you`re ready to go out on your own. There are also a couple of books available on this very subject on Amazon.

Good luck on this. If you enjoy what you`re doing and you are fanatically devoted to your clients, I`m sure you`ll do well.

Before I go, I just have to recommend you also get the book I wrote for grooms, since it will give you a pretty good insight into the minds of many of the grooms you`ll be dealing with - and it may be a book you`d want to recommend the brides get for their grooms since when you boil it all down, the main theme is basically "do whatever you have to to give the bride the day she`s dreamed of". It`s called "A Groom`s Guide to Surviving a Wedding: One Groom`s True Story" by me, Jim Cutter, and it`s available on Amazon as well as Barnes & Noble`s online site.
